Micro Acoustics manufactures sound-rated acoustic partitions — non-fibrous micro-perforated composite panels that both absorb and block noise, tested to STC 38 (Rw 36 dB), for plant rooms, equipment enclosures and commercial spaces.
A good partition must do two jobs: block sound passing through and absorb reverberation on each side. Our acoustic partitions use double-skin micro-perforated composite panels that deliver both, tested at STC 38 with Rw 36 dB — without any fibre fill.
Non-fibrous micro-perforated construction · Aluminium 1 mm, SS & GI 0.5 mm
Independently verified airborne sound insulation to ASTM E-90 & ISO 717-1.
Micro-perforated aluminium skins with honeycomb infill on both faces.
Combines surface absorption (NRC up to 0.90) with through-partition blocking.
All-metal, non-combustible panels with low fire load.
Reconfigurable partition systems for evolving plant and office layouts.
Finish and material chosen to suit the space — from plant rooms to offices.
Our composite micro-perforated acoustic partition was independently tested at Sound Transmission Class (STC) 38 with a weighted sound reduction index Rw of 36 dB (C;Ctr -1,-8), per ASTM E-90 / E-413 and ISO 717-1 at an ARAI NABL-accredited laboratory.
Yes. Unlike plain solid partitions, our micro-perforated faces absorb surface reflections (NRC up to 0.90) while the composite build blocks sound passing through — so they both quieten and contain a space.
Yes. They are all-metal, non-combustible, non-asbestos and contain no back absorbent fibre, so they do not shed dust or degrade, and carry a low fire load.
Yes. They are demountable and modular, making them suitable for plant rooms, data halls and offices where layouts change over time.
