Double-skin micro-perforated composite acoustic panels that absorb surface noise and block sound transmission — tested to STC 38 (Rw 36 dB).
A composite acoustic panel combines micro-perforated metal skins on both faces with a honeycomb core, so it absorbs reverberation on each side while blocking sound passing through. Our composite panel was independently tested at STC 38 with a weighted sound reduction index Rw of 36 dB.
Non-fibrous micro-perforated construction · Aluminium 1 mm, SS & GI 0.5 mm
Independently verified airborne sound insulation.
Micro-perforated aluminium skins with honeycomb infill on both faces.
Combines surface absorption with through-panel blocking.
All-metal, non-combustible panels with low fire load.
Reconfigurable systems for partitions and enclosures.
Ideal skin for DG, chiller and equipment enclosures.
Our composite acoustic panel was tested at Sound Transmission Class (STC) 38 with a weighted sound reduction index Rw of 36 dB (C;Ctr -1,-8), per ASTM E-90 / E-413 and ISO 717-1 at an ARAI NABL-accredited laboratory.
A single micro-perforated panel mainly absorbs sound, while a composite panel has micro-perforated skins on both faces with a honeycomb core, so it both absorbs surface noise and blocks sound transmission.
Yes. They are all-metal and non-fibrous, so they do not shed dust, absorb moisture or degrade, and carry a low fire load.
Typical composite panels are around 100–105 mm total, configurable to the required acoustic rating and application.
