Engineered micro perforated acoustic panels (MPP) that absorb sound through precision sub-millimetre perforations — high performance with no fibre, foam or dust.
Micro perforated acoustic panels are metallic sound absorbers with hundreds of thousands of sub-millimetre holes per square metre, backed by a controlled air cavity or honeycomb core. Sound energy is dissipated by viscous losses in the perforations and Helmholtz resonance behind them.
The result is high, tunable absorption — independently measured at NRC 0.90 — without any of the moisture, dust or degradation problems of fibrous absorbers.
Non-fibrous micro-perforated construction · Aluminium 1 mm, SS & GI 0.5 mm
Design NRC 0.70–0.95 by tuning perforation geometry to your noise spectrum.
All-metal construction with no flammable fibre load or asbestos.
No water absorption and no organic fibre, so no mould or performance loss.
Smooth surfaces wipe or wash clean — suited to healthcare and food-grade spaces.
Monolithic flat-plane panels are easy to install with prolonged performance.
Choose the face metal and finish to match any environment.
Our micro perforated acoustic panel was independently tested at a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.90 with a weighted absorption coefficient aw of 0.75 (Class C), per ASTM C-423 and ISO 354 at an ARAI NABL-accredited laboratory.
Sound enters the sub-millimetre perforations where viscous friction converts acoustic energy to heat, while the air cavity or honeycomb behind the panel provides Helmholtz resonance. No fibre or foam is needed.
Panels are made in 1 mm micro-perforated aluminium, 0.5 mm stainless steel and 0.5 mm galvanised iron, with paper or metal honeycomb cores and a GI back plate.
Yes. They are all-metal, non-combustible and non-asbestos, with no back absorbent fibre, making them suitable for plant rooms, DG rooms and other fire-sensitive areas.
